“I booked an Ocean View room at Royal Lahaina Resort, but the room we received only had a partial side-view of the ocean from the right side of the building. In my opinion, this should not be advertised or sold as a true ocean view room. When someone books ocean view, they expect the ocean to be clearly visible from the room, not only from an angle. “The pros are the hotel has great facilities for families, they have some really good slides for the kids, an arcade room, a Starbucks nearby and also car rental. There are two restaurants onsite and a few others within proximity. I also like the lobby area where they have a couple of tree swings, chess and some activities for the kids. That said, in terms of value, the room does not justify it. The bed was creaking, toilet is really small (you can’t even open the the door fully without swiping……
